This is all about working smarter and not harder. Now I’m a green girl from a tree hugger state so recycling and repurposing is very near and dear to my furry little heart.
Believe it or not, It doesn’t matter what type of business you have – coach, VA, underwater basket weaving – you already have everything you need to create a kick ass program. Not just any program either. Ever heard of a passive income program?
Oh ya! This is the type program that keeps working for you without you lifting a finger. You gotta love that!!
If you have any type of online business you probably already are doing some content marketing. You know – the things like the content for your blog and maybe you even have some cool freebie for email opt ins. Maybe you even send out an email newsletter like clockwork.
You probably even send educational stuff or tech tips to your peeps in the form of curated content that answers questions or by outright answering your peep’s questions about your niche. C’mon you know you have social media content for Facebook and maybe even a few vids on Facebook Live or Youtube.
You got content, Girlfriend!! You don’t have to start your programs from scratch (unless you really want to and have oodles of time on your hands 😉 )
Honestly, all of this absolutely mahvelous content you’ve created can be repurposed into passive income streams. Get it?
Regardless of what type of content it is, you can add to it, reimagining it in another format to add to your passive income stream. Here are 3 killer ideas to get you started.
1. Create a Comprehensive Report
Turn a “How To” blog post into a longer report, add several blog posts, some PowerPoint slides, and video and sell it as a comprehensive “How To” kit or report. Peeps love all-in-one items because they don’t have to weed through websites to find the information, they can just download a kit and learn fast.
2. Compile Your Work Into an EBook
You can edit, reorder, and add to the blog posts on your website to create a comprehensive complete book about your niche or your story, depending on what types of content you put on your blog and sell it as an eBook. If the content is completely original you can sell it as a Kindle book. WOOHOO! You’re an author!
3. Create a Membership Site
Once you have a few products, you can now put them all behind a pay wall and sell them within your membership website. Include a forum and you have group coaching, and user added content at its finest. Many people will pay a small monthly fee to be able to access your work. You don’t have to include everything and the kitchen sink you created in the membership site either to make a nice tidy pile of dough from memberships.
And finally, don’t forget to cross sell and upsell at every opportunity. Every thank you page, thank you note, and interaction you have with a customer is a chance to recommend one more thing.
See? Creating a passive income program is easy peasy. So tell me true beautiful – what items in your fabulous arsenal are you going to package up?
